WHAT IS KELLER CLUB?
The first rule of Keller Club is: You do not talk about Keller Club (kidding!…kind of)
In early 2022 I sent this email out to around 30 women.
They were peers, former colleagues and clients. Some were women I had briefly met at a handful of events right before Covid shut everything down.
What we all had in common? We were all driven and running our own, established independent businesses.
The response was immediate and unmistakable. Clearly there was a hunger (especially post-Covid) to meet face to face, to ‘talk shop’ and support one another with our businesses.
At the time I had a space at a small gemeinschaftsbüro located in the Keller of an Altbau in Giesing. All emails reminded people that the meeting was down in ‘the Keller’ and the name ‘Keller Club’ stuck.

There are many business groups open to everyone. This group was for women with a specific profile: Solo business owners who are established and serious. The idea is that everyone is on a similar level to best leverage our collective experiences, networks, and advice.
-
Not at all. We are open to international women as well as German women, and have many German members, but the operating language is in English.
-
At a minimum once a month. In an effort to try and accomodate different life configurations we rotate through an in-person evening meeting, an in-person breakfast meeting, and an online lunch meeting. There are also events like peer playbooks and online speed networking that are open to the groups larger non-member network.

Yes, that is the main focus of the group.

Keller Club is not a paid community. However, to cover admin costs, effort and time there is a yearly due of 149 EUR. This will be billed as ‘consulting’ from Eleanor Mayrhofer and you will receive a Steuer-compliant Rechnung.

This is a gray-area. If you’re a freelancer who solely contracts for a day/hourly rate, KC probably isn’t for you. If you are building a business that goes beyond hourly rates or working as a fractional, this is a better fit. A lot of it is about mindset.
The Founder: Eleanor Mayrhofer
I started Keller Club mostly because I didn’t have time to meet colleagues, friends and clients for individual coffees that would eat up half my day. I was building my business, had a toddler and just didn’t have that kind of time. I needed to be ruthless and focused with my time. I found most female business and networking groups were either for newbies or startup founders looking for funding. I wanted a group for business owners; solopreneurs, consultants, service providers. Serious, ambitious and accomplished women who had built businesses that were generating a meaningful income to support one another with real-world experience.
