Even though I had over 20 years experience as a web designer working with brands like Vodafone, T-Online, BMW and Siemens, I started my web design business by grabbing a Squarespace template, throwing some text in it and letting everyone I know that this was my new gig. Once you’ve booked and reserved your spot, the wheels are set in motion to get your website launched.

We’ll have an hour long call to get your website goals nailed and select the right base design.

You’ll have at least 10 days to articulate your brand values, write your website text and create a mood board.
You’ll be lead through the process step-by-step with helpful intake forms and resources I’ve designed to take make it easy.

A 30 minute call to go through all of your pre-work. We’ll make sure you have all your ducks in a row.
I’ll answer any questions to make sure we hit the ground running on your launch day.

On the morning of our day together, I’ll walk you through your new site. We’ll spend the rest of the time making any revisions you have and complete the tech stuff (ex. setting up your domain, SEO basics, Squarespace account and privacy policies.)

I’ve been at this game since 2000. I’ve worked as an art director, web designer and UX practitioner at global agencies large and small on projects for clients like Vodafone, GM, T-Online, BMW and Fidelity Investments.
I was also a project manager and methodology designer so I learned how to get work done on time and design efficient production processes. I eventually quit this day job to run my own online business. I get the macro and the micro and I know what it’s like to be a one-woman show. Don’t take it from me, see what my customers have had to say.

We will book your day far enough in advance for you to get your work done. I understand that ‘life happens’ and if you aren’t done in time you can re-schedule your day once. If your pre-work is not completed by the date of the re-schedule you will lose your day (and your deposit).

If you’re on or in the US east coast, Europe, Africa, or the Middle East we’re good to go. I do occasionally work with clients from the US west coast (where I’m from!) but due to the time difference we stagger the usual hours. We can discuss if it makes sense for both of us.

I will make sure basic SEO settings are in place (site title, description, browser icons, etc.) however SEO is a separate marketing exercise that you must undertake after the site is launched.

No. To reserve your day you’ll pay 50% up front and 50% after our day is finished.

This shouldn’t happen, but if you like, you have the option of booking another day or half day to finish up what couldn’t be done in a day.

Yes, but. This working style is dynamic and hiccups can happen. If we find that we have to course correct, for example you feel you don’t like the colors you decided on after all, we’ll have to take stock and re-prioritize. I will continually ask you: ‘is this a must-have to launch?’
The kick-off call should help reduce these kinds of stumbling blocks. I’ll also go through all your desired features during the call and let you know if we can realistically get them done in a day.

Not in the base offer, but I do provide add-ons. I can provide you with a price list after a discovery call. Depending on what you need this can extend the launch time.
