Squarespace Tutorial Video: How to Reduce Extra Vertical Space in a Squarespace Fluid Engine section.
You aren’t able to resize sections vertically in Squarespace Fluid Engine without reducing the size or ‘air’ in text boxes first. I show you how to deal with this in this quick tutorial video.
(note: this post is a cleaned up transcript from the video above)
If you want to make a section a little smaller, You’ll have to make sure that all of the elements are more or less the same vertical size.
You’ll usually need to do this by maing an image or element smaller or pulling up a text box, for example.
You’ll also need to check that there aren’t additional line spaces in text boxes. Those will prevent you from making the text box shorter.
Once you have all the elements within a section the height you’d like, you can expand or contract the entire page section accordingly.
