You Can’t Be Everywhere All The Time. You Just Can’t.
We live in an incredible time with access to digital marketing tools and platforms that generations before us could only dream of. And that’s the problem.
There are so many tools! So many social media outlets! Every week we get messages telling us THIS is the online marketing thing you need to be doing! Facebook ads/a podcast/Tik-tok is going to completely transform your business, allow you to work 20 minutes a week and pull in an 8 figure income.
No, it’s not.
There is no free lunch and there is no quick and easy path to unbelievable riches.
There is slow and steady wins the race, there is making meaningful connections with people that are interested in what you have to offer and there is showing up authentically and often.
If you try and post on every platform all the time your efforts will be unfocused and unlikely to land with your ideal customer. You’ll be saying a lot of nothing to everyone, and burn yourself out in the process.
With your marketing strategy in hand, pick two channels to focus on, and work them hard. Maybe it’s Instagram, maybe it’s blogging, maybe it’s a newsletter or LinkedIn articles.
You know your business best, so you’re the best person to determine which platforms to focus on. this is. Make sure you build a solid presence in these spaces. Show up regularly.
Finding the right marketing channels will pay off, but remember: followers are not customers. If you want more clients and leads, the best thing to do is find out exactly where they are and show up with something of value to contribute.
