FAQs

How can I make sure my best ideas are easy to find online?

For starters, publish them! And publish them on your website first (I elaborate why on my post Why a Blog First Strategy is best.) But these don’t have to be in blog format. If you’re on (or host) a podcast keep that in an easy to reference place on your website. You can reshare these to social media, but the your website should be the original source. Lastly, a quick tip: purchase the domain for your name!

How do I ensure my online presence reflects my level of expertise?

At a minimum your website and social profiles (if you have them) need to be up-to-date. Better to have no online presence than a neglected one. In this post I talk more about the importance of managing your online presence so that it matches your expertise.

What’s the best way to organize my past work so it continues to add value?

Figure out a taxonomy system. Tag and organize it on your website in a way that’s easy to quickly find and share. The media can be different videos, reports, posts but if it’s organized around core themes of expertise it will be easy for you to share and referenceable for algorithms and LLMs.

How do I repurpose my existing content without starting from scratch?
